Hey Uglies!
I have been experiencing some creepy things at my house.
A little back story first.
We moved to our house 2 years ago. I know that land can be haunted if someone has not died on it. There could be rituals done, or the place could have been a sacred part of history. We built the house and didn't buy it from anyone. So the house is just 2 years old and new.
Ok, back to the story.
The first thing that happened to me was something strange but can possibly be explained. We got an Alexa as a moving gift from one of my mom and dads friends. Everything with it went great until about 3 weeks ago. I know this may happen to a lot of people but I think its creepy. In the middle of the night near about 1:30 a.m., the alexa went off. It wasn't music though. It was like someone was talking to it asking what the weather was or what year George Washington died. I couldn't exactly hear what it was saying but I could hear one answer though. And it was creepy.
Here's what it said. "We are all here together no matter where we are, we are stuck".
Another thing that happened last night was scratching sounds on my ceiling.
A little notice. We have cats that stay in the basement until one of my family members or I get up to let them out. My room happens to be in the basement as well except where the cats stay is unfinished. The top is left open and you can see the floor joists along with the gap between the basement ceiling and the top floor. If you have a ladder, you can get to that gap. My cats (unless they are in the Olympics) cant get up there because there isnt anything they can jump onto and climb up.
Ok, back to the story.
I was sound asleep and all of a sudden, I heard scratching on my ceiling. I looked at the time and I was in shock. The time read exactly 1:30 a.m. The time that the alexa went off.
This may have a connection but I don't really know. I'm stuck with what it could be. I would really like some help if that's ok.
Alexa Story Update
Heyyyy it's me again.
I have some updates for you along with some answers and a question.
The Alexa was brand new and was not used. Ok… The nearest neighbor that we have lives about 3/4 of a mile to about a mile away from us. So I don't think electrical interference is the problem with Alexa. Second, Alexa was talking a long time. There was more than one statement said, so I know there was at least more than one question asked.
I don't know what those questions were so I just named off the random questions: when did George Washington die and what was the weather like. Those were the first two that popped into my head. And also, there might be mice, but the scratching sound wasn't rustled. It was straight and went from one side of the room to the other without stopping.
Ok…
So…
While I was listening to what you guys had to say, I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. When I looked over, it was gone. I know this could just be one of those times where your eyes trick you. But I kept seeing this over and over while you guys were talking about my story. The thing looked like a person if that helps. I have a feeling that I have a visitor listening to what you guys are saying.
Update: The figure didn't go away this time. It just stood in the doorway when I looked over. I stared at it for a minute and it just disappeared. I'm thinking going to name the figure something. Any suggestions? Also, I'm going to have to get along with it to try and know it better first before I can say it's either boy or girl. We are cool with each other though.
Ok… So I am amazed by this figure now. I put on another podcast when the last one ended to have background noise while I do work for school. Then all of a sudden, the figure reappeared. It came into my room and sat on my bed. I left it alone for a bit and it just chilled in my room. I didn't except this to happen, but it just stayed in my room. And when the podcast ended, it went away.
So I turned another one on just to test my idea. And my idea was correct. The figure appeared and it sat on my bed like it was listening with me. I think I’m going to name it either Nick or Edi when I find out if it's a boy or girl because it only appears when listening to your podcast.
So, long story short, you have a new listener now! A ghost. Not calling the ghost busters just yet though. Also, this is for a school project, What is your favorite subway sandwich?
Also Edi, I'm glad you are feeling better.
Stay safe.
